Tyreek Hill’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus, addressed speculation surrounding Hill’s future with the Miami Dolphins during an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show. He dismissed rumors that the star receiver might be looking to leave South Florida.

Rosenhaus emphasized Hill’s commitment to the Dolphins, saying: “Tyreek is very passionate. Anyone I’ve ever represented that was great was passionate. They cared. What you see with Tyreek is very genuine. He wants to win. It’s not good enough for him not to make the playoffs. He’s very passionate.”

Injury struggles and Hill’s determination

Hill’s performance in 2024 was his worst in five seasons, with 81 catches for 959 yards and six touchdowns. Rosenhaus revealed that a preseason injury significantly affected his season.

During training camp, Hill suffered a broken wrist in a scrimmage against the Washington Commanders. Doctors recommended surgery that would have sidelined him for the entire season. However, Hill refused to sit out, opting to play through the pain. Rosenhaus praised Hill’s resilience: “The doctors said it’s going to be painful, it could impact your entire career. Tyreek said, ‘To heck with it, I’m a team guy, I’m going for it.’ This hampered him all year long. He deserves a lot of credit.”

Despite his efforts, Hill’s frustration boiled over after the Dolphins’ Week 18 loss to the Jets. Following the team’s elimination from playoff contention, Hill publicly expressed his dissatisfaction, even posting a farewell message to Miami fans.

Commitment to the Dolphins

Rosenhaus assured fans that Hill remains focused on contributing to the team. He highlighted a productive meeting between Hill, Dolphins General Manager Chris Grier, and Head Coach Mike McDaniel:

“He had an excellent meeting with Chris Grier and Mike McDaniel. I believe that Tyreek is a great asset to the Dolphins. I think he’s the least guy that people should be worried about for this organization. They have many more worries – Tyreek Hill is not one of them.”

Looking ahead

Hill, 30, signed a four-year, $120 million extension with the Dolphins in March 2022 after being traded by the Kansas City Chiefs. Despite a tough season, Rosenhaus insists Hill remains a cornerstone of Miami’s future, determined to bounce back and lead the team to success.
