Tottenham Hotspur vs Bodo/Glimt Head-to-Head Record: Stats, History & Latest Results

Tottenham Hotspur will welcome Norwegian champions Bodo/Glimt to North London on Thursday for their Europa League semi-final first leg. Ange Postecoglou’s men are eyeing their first European title since 1984. Spurs are looking for a return to European action in desperate need of a lift after a damaging 5-1 defeat at Anfield in their last game.

Their Premier League season continues to spiral as they’re now sitting in 16th position in the table. Just four league games are remaining with no hopes of salvaging the league. Hence, the Europa League remains their final shot at silverware. In Europe, however, Tottenham have shown resilience as they most recently edged out Eintracht Frankfurt.

On the other hand, Bodo/Glimt’s stunning rise has taken them to historic new heights. They’ve become Norway’s first-ever semi-finalists in a senior UEFA men’s competition. They’re boasting an unbeaten domestic start this season. A prolific Kasper Waarts Hogh is leading the line as they’ll aim to shock another English side.

Tottenham are expected to recall key players, like Rodrigo Bentancur, Cristian Romero, and Micky van de Ven after resting them at Anfield. Meanwhile, Heung-min Son remains doubtful, while Radu Dragusin is yet to recover from his injury. Antonin Kinsky and Timo Werner remain ineligible for the Europa League knockout rounds.

Bodo/Glimt face multiple absences, with Hakon Evjen, Patrick Berg, and Andreas Helmersen set to serve suspensions. Defender Odin Bjortuft is also a doubt after suffering a groin injury. Despite setbacks, in-form striker Kasper Waarts Hogh and midfielder Ulrik Saltnes will play key roles as the Norwegians aim to upset the hosts.
