Legends Bill Russell tops the chart of the most celebrated league across the globe.

One of the most celebrated leagues in the USA, the NBA has seen players with immense talent. Two conferences, with three divisions and 15 teams lock horns for the NBA championship. Each team plays 82 games in the regular season to qualify for the playoffs.

The Legend Bill Russell has 11 NBA rings, the most in NBA history, followed by Sam Jones with 10 rings. Below is the list of players with the most NBA Rings.

Bill Russell

Bill Russell tops the chart with 11 NBA championships. The 12-time NBA All-Star won the NBA championships in 1957, 1959-66, 1968 and 1969. The Boston Celtics owned the center position in his career span of 14 years, won NBA Most Valuable Player 5-times and NBA rebounding champion 4-times.

Sam Jones

Another Boston Celtics legend, who played professional basketball from 1957 to 1969 won 10 NBA championships in 1959-66, 1968, and 1969. 5 time NBA All-Star donned the shooting guard position in his playing days.

Tom Heinsohn

A legendary power forward for the Boston Celtics won 8 NBA championships in 1957, from 1959 to 1965. 6 time NBA All-Star was also crowned with NBA Rookie of the Year in 1957. He also donned the coach jersey for the Boston Celtics and helped them win 2 more NBA Championships in 1974 and 1976. He also won NBA Coach of the Year in 1973.

K.C. Jones

K.C. Jones played as a point guard for the Boston Celtics and won 8 NBA Championships from 1959 to 1966. The GOAT won two more championships as an NBA coach in 1984 and 1986 and as an assistant coach in 1972 and 1981.

Satch Sanders

The All-time Great power forward won 8 NBA Championships from 1961-1966, 1968, and 1969 while playing for the Boston Celtics.

John Havlicek

The NBA Finals MVP of 1974 won 8 NBA Championships in his career while playing for the Boston Celtics. He won 4 consecutive NBA championships from 1963 to 1966, two consecutive NBA championships in 1968 and 1969, and then in 1974 and 1976. The 13-time All-Star played a pivotal role in the dominance of the Boston Celtics during his playing days.

Jim Locustoff

A Legendary small forward, won 7 NBA championships in 1957, 1959-1964. He received “LOSCY” honor by the Boston Celtics.

Frank Ramsey

The Basketball Hall of Fame won 7 NBA championships in 1957, 1959-1964, and was an NCAA champion of 1951.

Robert Horry

The 7-time NBA champion is the first player on this list to have won NBA championships with different teams. He won two titles with the Houston Rockets in 1994 and 1995, three with the LA Lakers from 2000-2002, and two with the San Antonio Spurs in 2005 and 2007.

Kareem Abdul Jabbar

One of the best NBA players of all time, Kareem Abdul Jabbar won 6 NBA championships in 1971, 1980, 1982, 1985, 1987, and 1988. A 6-time NBA MVP, 2-time NBA Final MVP, and 19-time NBA All-Star are few of the many accomplishments he made during his career. From being NBA Rookie of the Year to 2-time NBA scoring leader, NBA rebound leader, and 4-time NBA block leader, he has done it all. He also won two NBA championships as an NBA coach in 2009 and 2010.

Michael Jordan

The name doesn’t need any introduction as it is the first thing that strikes the mind when you say NBA. He revolutionized the NBA. With 6 NBA championships, the list of accolades that Michael Jordan has under his name is way too long. A 6-time NBA final MVP, 5-time NBA MVP, 14-time NBA All-Star, and 3-time NBA All-Star game MVP, he is so goated that you name an accomplishment in the NBA and he would have to under his belt.

He was a 10-time scoring champion, 3-time NBA steals leader, NBA Rookie of the Year, NBA Defensive Player of the Year, and a 2-time NBA Slam Dunk Contest champion. He also represented the USA internationally winning 2 Gold medals in the Olympic Games, and one gold medal each in Tournament of the Americas and Pan American Games.

Scottie Pippen

Another name to the list of GOATs, he is a 6-time NBA Championship winner from 1991 to 1993 and 1996 to 1998. An NBA All-Star game MVP and a 7-time NBA All-Star won the FIBA Americas Championship in 1992. A 2-time, Olympic Gold medalist, he was awarded USA Basketball Male Athlete of the Year in 1996.
