A huge blow for the Mavericks !
Dallas Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic is set to miss upcoming NBA games due to a wrist strain.
The injury, confirmed by NBA insider Shams Charania on November 21, will sideline Doncic for at least a week as he undergoes evaluation and treatment. This news comes as a significant blow to the Mavericks, who are relying heavily on Doncic’s performance this season.

The injury occurred during the Mavericks’ victory over the New Orleans Pelicans on Tuesday, November 19. Doncic reportedly experienced discomfort in his wrist during the first quarter but initially downplayed its severity. Following a medical assessment on Wednesday, the decision was made for immediate treatment and rest.
This setback adds to Doncic’s injury challenges this season. Earlier, he missed a game against the Oklahoma City Thunder due to knee issues but made a strong return in the next matchup against the Pelicans, contributing 26 points, five rebounds, and five assists.
Doncic has been a key figure for Dallas this season, averaging 28.1 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 7.6 assists per game with 43.5% shooting from the field.
His performance has propelled the Mavericks to an 8-7 record, placing them 10th in the Western Conference standings.
The Mavericks will face a challenging schedule without their star guard, including games against the Denver Nuggets in the NBA In-Season Tournament on Friday, November 22, followed by road matchups against the Miami Heat and Atlanta Hawks.
They return to Dallas on November 27 to play the New York Knicks.
