Since joining Liverpool from Roma in 2017, Mohamed Salah has established himself as one of the club’s all-time greats.

Mo Salah has signed a new contract with Liverpool to extend his stay at Anfield. The Egyptian forward’s contract had been due to expire in the summer and there had been serious doubts about whether he would stay with the Reds. The Egyptian has officially put all speculation to rest by signing the new contract with Liverpool.

The renewed deal means Salah will have the opportunity to build further on his already legendary legacy at Anfield. With 243 goals and 109 assists in 393 appearances, he remains one of Liverpool’s all-time greats and now has more time to chase history in the famous red shirt.

Liverpool took to social media this morning to share a video announcing the news that Reds fans had been anxiously waiting for. After months of uncertainty and speculation surrounding Mo Salah’s future, the club’s announcement brought a huge sigh of relief to Liverpool fans all over the world.

Mohamed Salah’s New Liverpool Contract

Mohamed Salah has signed a new two-year deal with Liverpool. Egyptian journalist Ismael Mahmoud reported that Salah’s new contract is set at a fixed £400,000 per week – a £50,000 increase from his previous terms. This bump would place him as the joint second-highest paid player in the Premier League, level with Kevin De Bruyne and just behind Manchester City’s Erling Haaland.

Salah has enjoyed another stunning season for the Reds, scoring 32 goals in all competitions to fire them to the top of the Premier League. In addition to the goals, Salah has also provided 22 assists for his teammates. With only seven matches remaining, Arne Slot’s side are 11 points clear of second placed Arsenal.
