New York Regain Confidence With Win

This win served as a major confidence boost for the struggling New York Liberty side. Just when they were sinking down and the Atlanta Dream were closing in on their second place, the Liberty made a comeback.

Liberty head coach said, “I’m really proud. Every team is dealing with injuries. Unfortunately, we’ve had to endure it with all our bigs. That makes winning tough in this league, but we’ve shown we’re a resilient group.”

She added, “Everyone faces adversity, but what are you gonna do with it? But it was really nice to have Emma. It was easier with the rotations and the matchups. Really happy to integrate her. It’s good to get one win, but we have to go back and own Dallas.”
