Seattle Storm vs Indiana Fever WNBA Prediction- Spread & Other Bets- 08/03/2025

Shubham Singh

On Sunday, August 03, the Seattle Storm (16-12) will host the Indiana Fever (16-12) in a WNBA regular-season matchup. The Fever have shot up to the fifth spot, whereas the Storm has slipped just behind at the sixth spot.

The Storm enters the game after a heartbreaking 106-108 loss against the LA Sparks in Double Time OT as Nneka Ogwumike’s 37 points were in vain. Frustrated Storm coach Noelle Quinn blamed officiating for the game.

On the other hand, the Fever defeated the Wings 88-78 in their latest hit as Kesley Mitchell erupted for 23 points. It was their fourth straight win as the Fever nailed 12 triples.

Can the broken Storm fend off the ferocious Fever? Check the predictions related to player props, total, and spread here.

Seattle Storm vs Indiana Fever Total Over/Under Prediction- WNBA Best Bets

The Storm is one of the most inconsistent offenses, despite having a loaded field. They can score over 90 one night and capitulate below 70. On the other hand, Storm has scored 87 or more in three straight games.

Defensively, the Storm has loosened the grip it had earlier and conceded 85+ regularly. Meanwhile, Indiana has conceded fewer than 80 on three straight occasions. The overall scoring scenario looks unpredictable, but I’d lean towards a high-scorer.

Total: Over 162.5 for -110 at BetMGM

Seattle Storm vs Indiana Fever Player Props Predictions- WNBA Betting Picks

Nneka Ogwumike O 16.5 Points: The Seattle forward has been in sublime form. She has put up 37, 26, and 18 in the last three games. I believe she will score at least 18 here.

Kesley Mitchell O 19.5 Points: The veteran off-guard has put up 20 or more in seven of the last nine games. I believe she will continue her hot shooting form.

Erica Wheeler O 4.5 Assists: Wheeler has delivered 3.8 assists, dishing out 5 or more assists in three straight games. I expect her to continue the trend.

Main pick: Nneka Ogwumike O 16.5 points for -125 at BetMGM

Seattle Storm vs Indiana Fever Spread Prediction

The Storm’s inability to put together winning spells has kept them out of the top-four rankings. They are not extracting the best out of their loaded lineup. On the other hand, the Fever has made the best use of their existing players without Cailtin Clark.

Thus, Indiana will be confident entering the game. At the same time, Seattle would fancy their chances at home. I’d back the Storm to break Fever’s four-game winning streak.
