The Seattle Storm are in their 25th season of the WNBA. Having been founded in 2000, the Storm is now regarded as one of the most successful franchises in the league. A part of the Western Conference, the Storm is tied with the Minnesota Lynx and Houston Comets for the most championships. This is not it! It is also one of the two franchises apart from the Houston Comets, which have never lost the WNBA Finals.

Over the years, the team has been home to some of the most notable names in the WNBA, including Sue Bird, Lauren Jackson, Breanna Stewart, and more. Initially, the Storm shared ownership with the Seattle Supersonics of the NBA. However, after the Supersonics relocated, the Storm were sold to a new ownership group and they remained at KeyArena. After a few initial challenging seasons, the Storm rose to prominence and it is now seen as one of the most threatening teams to its rivals.
