Barcelona completed a nail-biting comeback after going 1-3 down at the hour mark against Celta Vigo. With the La Liga title at stake, this comes as a very important victory for Hansi Flick as they go seven points clear of Real Madrid.

The three points came at a price for Barcelona as their striker Robert Lewandowski was subbed off limping in the final quarter. Ahead of some important fixtures like the Champions League semi-final and Copa Del Rey Finals against Real Madrid, this could come as a major blow for the Spanish side.

According to the reports as per Fabrizio Romano, Lewandowski has sustained a muscle injury. The Polish Striker after going through tests under 24 hours was determine to sustain a semitendinosus injury.

It is also being reported that Lewandowski will remain out for a minimum of three weeks. This rules out the possibility of appearing in the Copa del Rey final against Real Madrid and the UCL Semi-final Leg 1 against Inter as well.

The social media report by Romano said: “ Robert Lewandowski has a left semitendinosus injury, tests have confirmed. He’s expected to miss Copa del Rey final against Real Madrid and unlikely to be back against Inter, as SER reports Lewa could be out for 3 weeks.” The 36-year-old is the leading goalscorer (25) in La Liga as of April being a crucial piece of Barcelona’s attack.
