Real Madrid Starlet Endrick Linked With Shock Newcastle United Move

One of Real Madrid’s brightest young prospects, Endrick, is once again being linked with a move away from the Santiago Bernabeu. According to reports, Newcastle United are preparing an official bid for the teenager in the January transfer window. Newcastle are in 13th position currently in Premier League with six points from five league matches.

The Magpies were among the busiest Premier League clubs in the summer market, securing the signings of Anthony Elanga, Jacob Ramsey, Nick Woltemade, Yoane Wissa, Malick Thiaw, Aaron Ramsdale, and Antonio Cordero. However, a stuttering start to the 2025/26 campaign has forced Eddie Howe’s side back into the market, specifically for a new striker.

Newcastle Prepare Proposal for Endrick

According to Italian outlet TuttoJuve, Newcastle have already prepared a proposal for Endrick, who only joined Madrid last summer following his €70m move from Palmeiras agreed back in 2022. Newcastle are in desperate need of attacking firepower up front after Yoane Wissa’s injury troubles. Magpies manager Eddie Howe sees Endrick as a potential statement signing to reignite their season.

Endrick made 37 appearances in his debut season in Spain. The 19-year-old scored seven goals and provided one assist, but injuries and competition limited his playing time. Madrid’s attack is currently dominated by Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Junior, while youngster Gonzalo Garcia is also pushing for minutes.

Endrick, who has only just returned from a muscle injury, now faces an uphill battle for consistent game time under Xabi Alonso. His decision to skip the FIFA U20 World Cup with Brazil to focus on Madrid underscored his commitment. The Spanish giants resisted summer interest to show faith in Endrick’s long-term potential. However, his future remains clouded by uncertainty due to the lack of regular opportunities.
