The Baltimore Ravens will face the Houston Texans for a Week 5 Sunday contest. The Ravens are currently 1-3 to start their season, and even though they have some of the most gifted rosters in the NFL, they have struggled this season. Meanwhile, the Texans are coming off a win and are looking to get their second straight W by beating a depleted Ravens team who’s struggling with injuries.

With Lamar Jackson out for the game with a hamstring injury, we believe that the number of touches for Derrick Henry will go significantly up, as he will be their No.1 rushing option. Henry has 3 TDs so far, and as we’ve seen before, he can absolutely explode at any given time. The Texans rank 12th in rushing defense, which is solid, but far from the best. Henry will be a difficult challenge to deal with for the Texans, and we expect him to score at least a TD.
C.J. Stroud has only crossed 30 passing attempts in one game so far, against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Looking at the Ravens’ horrible defense, ranking 31st in the league, we believe that the Texans will have an easy win over the Ravens, making Stroud throw the ball a lot less, unless somehow the Ravens find a way to make it close.
Cooper Rush is coming off 5 Interceptions season in 2024 playing for the Cowboys. The Texans’ ranks 6th in passing defense so far, and 5th overall, making a Rush potentially thrown INTs over 0.5. Rush will also only be starting for the first time this season, and as he tries to get rid of the rust, Texans may take full advantage of his situation.
The Baltimore Ravens (1-3) will face the Houston Texans (1-3) for Week 5’s Sunday matchup. The Ravens are off to a horrible start, only winning against the Cleveland Browns so far. Their star and 2-time MVP QB, Lamar Jackson, is out for this week due to a hamstring injury, with many defensive players out for tonight’s action as well. Meanwhile, the Texans got their first victory last game, completely shutting down the Tennessee Titans. C.J. Stroud will try to take advantage of a depleted Ravens roster to secure their second win for the season.

Looking at the Ravens‘ depleted roster, due to injuries, and their defense ranking 31st overall, it is safe to assume that the Texans and C.J. Stroud will have a field day going against them. We expect the Texans to win this matchup without much of a fight from the Ravens.

mma I cover the National Football League and things cannot get better than that. I always dreamed to play football or basketball professionally since I’m built like a Running Back. But now that I can’t, since I’m technically in the “Unc” age, I thought why not pick a career in sports industry? So here I am, doing what I love, and hoping that the Commanders win the Super Bowl. I give love to players when it’s due, but can be critical about their performances at the same time. Enough about me, now let my articles do all the talking.
