Premier League Rivals Arsenal and Manchester United Clash Over PSG Forward

Arsenal have reportedly stepped up their interest in Paris Saint-Germain attacker Lee Kang-in. The Gunners have reportedly made direct contact with PSG over a potential move for the South Korean this summer. The 24-year-old is also on the radar of Manchester United and Napoli, making him one of the most sought-after talents in the current transfer window.

Lee still has three years left on his PSG contract, which runs until 2028, but doubts over his future are growing as he struggles to secure consistent minutes in Luis Enrique’s star-studded squad. Despite being highly rated by his manager, sources suggest the French champions could allow him to leave if the right offer arrives.

Lee Kang-in’s Impressive UEFA Super Cup performance

The attacking midfielder, who can play off the right, as a central playmaker, or even as a false nine, has impressed with his versatility and creativity. Lee began his professional career at Valencia before moving to Mallorca, where his performances earned him a switch to PSG in 2023.

Since joining the French giants, he has made 86 appearances, scoring 13 goals and registering 11 assists across all competitions. Last season alone, Lee contributed six goals and six assists in 30 Ligue 1 games, and featured 11 times in the Champions League. His standout display in the UEFA Super Cup clash against Tottenham turned the match around for the French giants.

According to reports, Arsenal have already made initial contact with PSG to explore a deal, though negotiations are still at an early stage.
