Meanwhile, the fixture’s context helps – Port Vale have already scored away at Blackpool and Birmingham in the EFL Cup. It indicates they could fight back but may falter against the Gunners. The gulf in quality suggests Arsenal should dominate possession and chances, making a goals-heavy outcome credible.
