Rookie Paige Bueckers is playing like a superstar. The former UConn champion will be in action during the upcoming WNBA All-Star game. Before that, she must do a lot of heavy lifting for the Dallas Wings.
The Wings are 6-14, and in danger of falling out of the playoff race despite a 5-3 stretch recently. Bueckers has helped them turn around their season, and she will intend to do so against the Chicago Sky.
It is a golden chance to nab a win, and Bueckers will be up for the challenge. Here are Paige Bueckers’ player props for the encounter against the Chicago Sky.
Bueckers has been on a tear on the offensive end. She is averaging a highly impressive 18.2 PPG on an incredible 46.5% shooting. The Wings PG has scored 19 or more in 8 of the 15 games (19+ in five of the last seven games).
She scored just 11 in the last contest, so she is due another big-time performance. I chose “Under” for her during the last game, but would confidently choose “Over” here.
She is not a laser three-point shooter, but has exceeded expectations. The guard has made 1.1 three-pointers/game on a respectable 35.4% clip. She has made two triples in 2 of the last three games. However, I’d not opt for “Over” in terms of triples here.
The Wings guard has also exceeded expectations as a playmaker. She averaged 4.6 assists per game in her last NCAA season. Meanwhile, the offensive maestro has dropped 5.5 dimes per game in her young NBA career.
However, she has delivered 5 or fewer helpers in three of the last four games. But I’ll go “Over” the mark here.
On the other hand, she has pulled down 4.2 rebounds/game. She has grabbed 4 or fewer in three of the last four games. So I’d hesitate to go “Over” the mark here.
Paige Bueckers’ average game score has been 27.9 (Points+Rebounds+Assists). She has tallied a gamescore of 30 in four of the last six games. That is indeed a terrific game score.
The Sky has been undergoing a busy schedule, and the tired perimeter defense can allow Bueckers to compile a hefty stat line. Thus, I’d go “Over” for Game Score.

nba Hi, I am Shubham. I am currently an NBA Predictions Writer on The Playoffs. I enjoy this job because it helps keep me in the loop about the game I love while fulfilling the pleasure I derive from stats. I got into NBA writing through social media interactions in the mid-2010s as I shared my takes on young talents such as D’Angelo Russell. I hope you enjoy reading my pieces as much as Dennis Rodman loved rebounding the basketball!
