Ousmane Dembele Injury Update – What Is French Forward’s Availablity in the PSG vs Arsenal Clash?

French Forward Had Been Suffering From an Injury Ahead of Semi-Final Second Leg at Parc des Princes.

Paris Saint-Germain have received a significant boost ahead of their Champions League semi-final second leg against Arsenal. The French team coach Luis Enrique has confirmed that their ace forward Ousmane Dembele is fit. He confirmed that Dembele, who was the solo goalscorer in the first leg, will be available for selection.

PSG won the first leg by a narrow 0-1 margin a week ago at the Emirates Stadium. Dembele scored the only goal of the day early into the game. He could’ve done more damage but he was forced off with 20 minutes remaining on the clock. Reportedly, he suffered a hamstring strain, casting doubt on his availability for the return fixture.

The French winger was omitted from PSG’s 2-1 weekend defeat to Strasbourg as a precaution. However, speaking at Tuesday’s pre-match press conference, Enrique delivered positive news. Giving a short but positive news about the player, the coach said: “He’s been training with the group for two days. I have him at my disposal tomorrow.”

Dembele has been in sensational form in 2025. He has racked up 33 goals and 12 assists across all competitions. No player in Europe’s top five leagues has contributed to more goals this calendar year. His presence could prove decisive against a resilient Arsenal side, who will fight their best against the French side.

PSG full-back Achraf Hakimi also commented on Dembele’s fitness, saying: “He has recovered well. I was able to speak with him, he feels good. The coach will make the decision. If he is not there, someone else will be. He is a very important player, but he helps us on and off the pitch.”

Lee Kang-in Returns, Arsenal Receive Boosts Too

PSG have also welcomed back Lee Kang-in, who trained on Tuesday after picking up a knock in the Strasbourg match. While he may not start, he may come off the bench to add depth to the midfield options.

On the other side, Arsenal have reasons to be optimistic too. They have been playing a part of the season without a large number of key players. They will be determined to overturn the one-goal deficit at Parc des Princes.

That will be boosted by the return of key players, like Riccardo Calafiori, Jurrien Timber, and Martin Odegaard. All three were spotted in training on Tuesday. This will give Mikel Arteta more options in his quest to guide the Gunners to their first Champions League final since 2006.
