NFL Week 8 Baltimore Ravens vs Chicago Bears Injury Report – Zay Flowers Unspecified, Lamar Jackson Questionable, and Kyler Gordon Out

Eric Divakaran

The Baltimore Ravens are set to host the Chicago Bears for their Week 8 matchup, live from M&T Bank Stadium. The Baltimore Ravens are 1-5 for the season and are on a 4-game skid, with their latest loss coming from the L.A. Rams. They have been heavily struggling without their star QB Lamar Jackson, who has missed games due to his hamstring injury that he suffered facing the Chiefs in Week 4. Part of the Ravens’ mishaps this season is because of all the injuries that they had, however, most players should be ready to go this week, giving Baltimore hope to turn their season around. The biggest news however, is around their QB Lamar Jackson’s status for the game, who is listed as questionable to start the game.

Meanwhile, the Chicago Bears have been on a bit of heater recently, winning 4 straight games after starting their season 0-2 initially. Their new headcoach Ben Johnson is starting find similar kind of success with the Bears, that he had as an offensive coordinator for the Lions last season and the years prior. Bears No.1 pick, QB Caleb Williams has shown improvements this season after his rookie season slump. He’s over 1300 passing yards and has 9 TDs on just 3 interceptions. While the Bears’ offense has improved dramatically this season, they still need to more consistency on the defensive side of the field to make a deep postseason run.

The Ravens have 10 players listed on the injury report. And except for Lamar Jackson and Ronnie Stanley, every player on the Ravens’ injury report had full practices on Friday and there is hope that they will all be ready to take on the Chicago Bears. Lamar Jackson is listed as questionable, but according to reports from NFL Network’s Ian Rappaport, Jackson ran the scout team on Friday, rather than getting reps with the first-team offense. This indicates that Jackson is still not ready to come back in just yet, and we may have to wait for another week to see the 2x MVP in action.

I cover the National Football League and things cannot get better than that. I always dreamed to play football or basketball professionally since I’m built like a Running Back. But now that I can’t, since I’m technically in the “Unc” age, I thought why not pick a career in sports industry? So here I am, doing what I love, and hoping that the Commanders win the Super Bowl. I give love to players when it’s due, but can be critical about their performances at the same time. Enough about me, now let my articles do all the talking.
