Ravens falling to 1-3 is a major concern in Baltimore with Lamar Jackson uncertain for week 5!
With week 4 of the 2025-26 NFL season all done and dusted following the Denver Broncos’ thumping win over the Cincinnati Bengals, we are ready to bring you our latest NFL power ranking ahead of week 5.
This week featured the first-ever NFL game in Dublin, Ireland, as the Steelers held on to a narrow 27-24 win over the Vikings. The Giants commenced their Jaxson Dart era of football and darted to a 21-18 win over the previously undefeated Los Angeles Chargers.
Elsewhere, the Ravens fell at Arrowhead to the Chiefs and are now 1-3, with Lamar Jackson’s status for week 5 uncertain.
Week 4 NFL Power Rankings
There’s plenty more to look forward to in the upcoming slate of games next week, but before that, here are the week 4 NFL power rankings.
Rank 1 – Philadelphia Eagles (4-0) – no change
The Philadelphia Eagles continue to top the list of power rankings with yet another win. This time, the Eagles flew down to Tampa and tackled not just the Buccaneers, but the hot and humid climate that had bested them in the past few meetings. Philadelphia never looked back after a blocked punt on the opening drive, which they returned for a touchdown to get off to an electric start.
Rank 2 – Buffalo Bills (4-0) – no change
Through four weeks of football, the Bills are the only other team to join the Eagles as the league’s two undefeated teams this season. The Bills had a relatively easy game against the lowly Saints and came through with a 31-19 win.
Rank 3 – Detroit Lions (3-1) – rise 1 spot
The Detroit Lions climb up 1 spot to number 3 in the latest rankings with a commanding win over the Cleveland Browns. Although the Browns are not a tough opposition by any means, the Lions have now registered 3 consecutive wins in dominating fashion.
Rank 4 – Los Angeles Chargers (3-1) – rise 1 spot
Despite the Chargers losing in week 4 to the Giants, it can be considered a one-off bad day at the office. Los Angeles has played quality football on both sides of the ball in the first three weeks, and with the Packers losing again, the Chargers benefit with a move up.
Rank 5 – Los Angeles Rams (3-1) – rise 2 spots
The Los Angeles Rams enter the top 5 with a win over the Indianapolis Colts this week. The Colts were coming into the game undefeated at 3-0 and had played excellent football till now with Daniel Jones under center, reviving the offense.
Rank 6 – Green Bay Packers (2-2) – slide 3 spots
The Packers slide 3 spots, and it’s not just because of the tie in Dallas. After a blistering start to the season with 2 wins over the Lions and Commanders, they endured a shock loss to the Browns, putting up just 10 points in the game. They were once again the favorites in Dallas, but couldn’t get over the line, instead settling for a 40-40 tie.
Rank 7 – San Francisco 49ers (3-1) – rise 2 spots
The 49ers faced the Jaguars in week 4 and lost 21-26 to bring an end to their undefeated run for the season. Injury struggles continue, but Brock Purdy is back under center. Despite the loss in week 4, the 49ers still climb as the Ravens and Commanders slip further below.
Rank 8 – Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-1) – rise 2 spots
The Buccaneers lost to the Eagles and, with it, also lost their undefeated tag over the weekend. They fought valiantly for a comeback, but Philly was too far ahead and managed to win the game 31-25 in the end. Despite the loss, the Bucs are off to a great start, and gain spots with the Ravens and Commanders faltering.
Rank 9 – Indianapolis Colts (3-1) – rise 2 spots
The Colts suffered the same fate as the 49ers and Buccaneers above them. All teams lost in week 4 but gained places due to the Ravens’ and Commanders’ losses, which drops them further down. Indianapolis played another good game, this time against the Rams, but a fumble by Adonai Mitchell cost them dearly.
Rank 10 – Kansas City Chiefs (2-2) – rise 2 spots
The Kansas City Chiefs enter the top 10 for the first time this season with a resounding win over the Baltimore Ravens in week 4. That makes it back-to-back wins for the Chiefs after starting 0-2 on the year. The Chiefs’ offense found some rhythm, which was lacking earlier, and Xavier Worthy’s return is a huge boost for the team.
Rank 11 – Baltimore Ravens (1-3) slide – 5 spots
The Ravens take a mighty fall in the latest NFL power rankings with their season hanging in the balance following a 1-3 record and a hamstring injury to Lamar Jackson, leading to him potentially missing a couple of weeks.
Rank 12 – Washington Commanders (2-2) – slide 4 spots
A more than decent win against the Giants in week 1 had the Commanders fans optimistic about their chances once again this year. However, the recent loss to the Falcons now puts them at .500. While Jayden Daniels could return next week, wideout Terry McLaurin could still miss another week.
Rank 13 – Seattle Seahawks (3-1) – no change
Seattle faced their divisional opponents, the Arizona Cardinals, and came out on top 23-20. With three wins from four games, the Seahawks are keeping pace with the 49ers and Rams in the NFC West.
Rank 14 – Denver Broncos (2-2) – no change
Denver entered its week 4 contest with a 1-2 record, but their game against the Bengals was a dominating one. Both games, which they lost, were close ones that could have gone either way. They remain at the 14th spot with no change at the moment.
Rank 15 – Atlanta Falcons (2-2) – rise 1 spot
Michael Penix’s 313-yard passing and 2-touchdown performance were crucial in the Falcons’ win over a Marcus Mariota-led Washington Commanders team. The Falcons remain close on the heels of the Bucs in the NFC South, and rise 1 spot in the latest NFL power rankings.
Rank 16 – Pittsburgh Steelers (3-1) – Rise 2 spots
The Steelers are 3-1 for the moment, but two of their wins have come against the Jets and the Patriots. This week, they defeated the Vikings, but Minnesota had backup quarterback Carson Wentz under center.
Rank 17 – Jacksonville Jaguars – (3-1) – rise 2 spots
Jacksonville is off to a surprising start to the season with 3 wins from 4 games. Their latest win over the 49ers was a significant one despite the injury problems for San Francisco. Next up for the Jaguars is Kansas City, which could be a tricky one given the Chiefs’ latest performances against the Giants and Ravens.
Rank 18 – Arizona Cardinals (2-2) – slide 3 spots
The Cardinals slide a few spots to the number 18 rank. At 2-2, Arizona is now last in the division, and its loss to divisional opponents, the Seattle Seahawks, was a crucial one.
Rank 19 – Minnesota Vikings (2-2) – slide 2 spots
Likewise, the Vikings are struggling with consistency this season. Starting quarterback J.J. McCarthy is still recovering from his injury, and the offense has yet to find its groove thus far.
Rank 20 – Dallas Cowboys (2-2) – no change
Dallas played an incredible game despite facing one of the toughest teams in the league, the Green Bay Packers. Micah Parsons’ return to Texas was met with a solid offensive line performance that limited him to just one sack and four pressures in the game.
Rank 21 – New England Patriots (2-2) – rise 1 spot
New England went on an offensive tear against Carolina, putting up 42 points while allowing only 13 themselves. It was a thoroughly one-sided affair, but one can’t yet get too excited about their season with wins coming against the struggling Dolphins and Panthers teams.
Rank 22 – Cincinnati Bengals (2-2) – slide 2 spots
The Bengals’ slide continues in another week without quarterback Joe Burrow. Cincinnati had no offensive production in week 4’s MNF game against the Denver Broncos. The Bengals were limited to 159 total yards on offense and just 3 points.
Rank 23 – Houston Texans (1-3) – no change
Houston finally managed to win a game this season. 3 losses to begin the season, the Texans are in a dire position, and even though they shut out their opponents in a 26-0 win, it came against the Tennessee Titans.
Rank 24 – Chicago Bears (2-2) – rise 1 spot
Chicago is making its way up the ladder in the latest NFL power rankings. Two wins on the trot have the Bears at the 24th spot. Their latest win was a 25-24 victory over the Raiders. The upcoming weeks will show whether the Ben Johnson-Caleb Williams venture is trending upwards or not.
Rank 25 – Las Vegas Raiders (1-3) – slide 1 spot
The Raiders lost to the Bears in a very close game. As such, both teams end up swapping places on the rankings as Vegas now falls to 1-3, with 3 consecutive losses, resulting in a one spot slide in the NFL power rankings.
Rank 26 – New York Giants (1-3) – rise 3 spots
The Giants’ season was in doldrums just a week after their loss to the Chiefs. Enter rookie signal caller Jaxson Dart, and suddenly, there is euphoria in the Big Apple. Dart may not have had the best numbers in his debut, but he was effective and found a way to help his team defeat the previously undefeated Chargers team. Dart’s the way to go for Brian Daboll and the Giants.
Rank 27 – Cleveland Browns (1-3) – slide 1 spot
After holding the Packers to just 10 points in week 3, the Browns gave up 34 against the Lions this week. Cleveland’s offense is just not capable of scoring that many points itself. The Browns lost big 34-10 and are now 1-3, with the Vikings up next.
Rank 28 – Miami Dolphins (1-3) – rise 1 spot
Miami got its season off to a poor start, entering week 4 without a win. However, the Monday Night Football (MNF) game against divisional opponents, the Jets, earned them their first win. There is still plenty of work to do in Miami, and now with Tyreek Hill’s leg injury, the Dolphins may not be able to recover.
Rank 29 – New York Jets (0-4) – no change
With the latest loss to the Dolphins, the Jets now fall to 0-4 and will have to dig themselves out of a big hole if they are to salvage their season. Despite Justin Fields’ return to action, he was the only real positive in the game for New York. Next up in week 5 are the Dallas Cowboys.
Rank 30 – Carolina Panthers (1-3) – no change
After winning their week 3 matchup against the Falcons, Carolina slumped to a heavy defeat against the New England Patriots. Once again, the Panthers’ season is a disappointment with no upside to look forward to.
Rank 31 – New Orleans Saints (0-4) – no change
New Orleans was up against Buffalo this week in what was a David vs Goliath matchup. Despite the gulf in talent between the two teams, the Saints were in the game until the fourth quarter.
Rank 32 – Tennessee Titans (0-4) – no change
Lastly, we arrive at the Tennessee Titans, whose struggles continue with another loss in week 4. Going up against the Houston Texans, who were also winless, the Titans folded rather easily. They couldn’t manage to put up any points, but gave away 26 to the Texans and remain in last place in the latest NFL power rankings.
As we head into week 5, there are now only 2 teams, the Bills and the Eagles, who remain undefeated on the year. At the bottom of the pack are the Jets, Saints, and Titans, who have yet to win a game. Soon, we shall see what week 5 has in store for us, beginning with Thursday Night Football between the Rams and the 49ers.
