Cleveland Browns vs Detroit Lions Preview, Betting Odds, and Predictions for the 2025-26 NFL Season Week 4

Recommended bets and updated odds

Recommended BetsFanDuelBetMGM
Jared Goff 225+ passing yards-125-124
Quinshon Judkins 60+ rushing yards-102-115
Total points Under 44.5-115-120

Analysis and Rationale

Goff has consistently put up solid passing numbers in all three games thus far. He has thrown for 225 or more yards in two of his first three games, and with the Browns’ defense being strong against the run, Goff may have to use his arm more in this matchup.

Quinshon Judkins has had two decent performances running the ball against the Packers (94 yards rushing) and the Ravens (61 yards rushing). If the Browns’ offensive line can block well enough, Judkins has the ability to pick up plenty of yards on the ground, justified by his 5.5 yards per carry so far.

The Lions’ offense has been firing on all cylinders these past two weeks, but Cleveland’s defense is on another level. It ranks first overall and even held Green Bay to just 10 points last week. Additionally, the Browns’ offense has been struggling to put up points, as a result of which the under 44.5 points seems like a good bet.

Cleveland Browns vs Detroit Lions Preview

The Cleveland Browns started off losing their first 2 games against the Bengals and the Ravens, but bounced back in tremendous fashion as they defeated the Green Bay Packers, holding them to just 10 points. It looked like the season would be lost in week 3, but credit to them for being resilient.

As for the Lions, they started the season with a week 1 loss to the Packers, but since then, they have turned things around with resounding wins against the Bears and Ravens. The offense seems to have found its magic touch once again.

Week 4 Browns vs Lions Predictions for NFL 2025-26

This matchup is one that pits a top defense against a high-flying offense. The Browns have done an excellent job of limiting their opponents from big scores, apart from the Ravens in week 2. However, the offense is lacking any real threat, and that is holding the team back from being a genuine threat.

The Lions may have started slow, but they picked up the pace the past two weeks. The defense still needs to iron out a few flaws and limit the opposition from scoring, but the offensive production has been able to cover that for now.

Our Prediction: Lions to win.
