The Buffalo Bills kicked off the 2025-26 season with a perfect 4-0 record. Their early wins came against teams with losing records, and the offense looked sharp while the defense held strong. Fans were excited, and talk of a Super Bowl run started to build.
But the last two weeks have told a different story. The Bills dropped back-to-back games against playoff-caliber teams, exposing some cracks in their game plan. The offense struggled under pressure, and the defense couldn’t contain the Patriots nor the Falcons. Suddenly, the momentum has now shifted and the Bills are 4-2 after being undefeated for four straight weeks.
Now, some analysts are starting to question how real the Bills’ Super Bowl chances really are. Was the 4-0 start just a product of a soft schedule? Can they bounce back against tougher competition? With key matchups ahead, Bills will need to prove they belong in the contender conversation. The next few weeks could define their season.

NFL analyst, Colin Cowherd spoke on the Bills’ Super Bowl chances and here is what he had to say;
“I watched Buffalo after watch Kansas City the last couple of weeks. Buffalo’s not competing with Kansas City. Detroit is a really good football team up and down the field. Buffalo’s not stopping that. Turn the sound down and watch Buffalo. Take out Josh Allen. There’s not enough weapons and now they’re losing to good teams. New England is a good team… lost at home. Atlanta may not be a playoff team. (Falcons) almost had 500 yards… There was about a two or three year window with Buffalo… Maybe it’s closed.”
The Bills dropped back-to-back games against teams that may or may not be a playoff team. While offensively they are one of the best teams in the NFL, defense is where most of the concern comes in. We’ve all noticed by now that if the Bills’ offense is not functioning at an elite level, they will lose games because of their horrible defense.
We hate to admit it, and there’s still a lot of games, but Cowherd’s analysis is spot-on and the Bills losing games against good teams is a huge concern. Will they win a Super Bowl this season? We seriously doubt that.

mma I cover the National Football League and things cannot get better than that. I always dreamed to play football or basketball professionally since I’m built like a Running Back. But now that I can’t, since I’m technically in the “Unc” age, I thought why not pick a career in sports industry? So here I am, doing what I love, and hoping that the Commanders win the Super Bowl. I give love to players when it’s due, but can be critical about their performances at the same time. Enough about me, now let my articles do all the talking.
