WNBA Injury Report and Predicted Starting Lineups New York Liberty vs Minnesota Lynx- Liberty Raise Concerns With Injury Report Ahead of Clash Against Arch Rivals

Garima Ranawat

Let's get into the injury reports and predicted starting lineups for Liberty and Lynx ahead of their Sunday clash!

The New York Liberty, are set to welcome the Minnesota Lynx for a highly-anticipated clash on Sunday, August 10, at Barclays Center. This is the second time that the reigning champions will lock horns with their 2024 WNBA Finals rivals in the ongoing season. In their previous meeting, the Minnesota Lynx seemingly avenged their loss from the final clash of the previous season, and defeated the Liberty 100-93. This time, the Liberty would want to level the tally by securing a notable win over their counterparts.

The previous game saw Napheesa Collier dropping 30 points, nine rebounds, and two assists, while Kayla McBride came up with 24 points, three rebounds, and five assists. The Liberty, on the other hand, had Sabrina Ionescu dropping 31 points, five rebounds, and four assists. Isabelle Harrison tallied 15 points, two rebounds, and two assists off the bench for the Liberty. The upcoming game is expected to be a similar kind of high-scoring affair.

The Lynx are ruling the charts with a win-loss record of 26-5, and the Liberty are in the second spot with a 20-10 win-loss record. While the outcome of the clash remains uncertain, entertainment, thrill and high-octane on-court drama is certain. With that said, let’s get into the injury reports and predicted starting lineups for the Lynx and the Liberty.
