Isaiah Stewart left the game in the 4th quarter due to a knee injury.

The New York Knicks will host the Detroit Pistons in Game 2 of the first-round best-of-7 series. The Pistons would look to bounce back after a 123-112 defeat in the opener of the playoff series on Saturday. The Knicks and the Pistons have played 16 games in the playoffs, with 8 wins each for both teams.

The Pistons won the regular-season series 3-1 against the Knicks, but they are one game behind in the series. Detroit is playing its first playoff series since 2018-19 and couldn’t handle the pressure in Game 1. The Pistons lost the game in the fourth quarter after taking a six-point lead. Isaiah Stewart’s injury also played a big role in it.

On the flip side, New York snapped their three-game losing streak against Detroit on Saturday and would look to take a crucial 2-0 lead before heading to a road game on Thursday. The Knicks outscored the Pistons 40-21 in the final period to seal the game. With healthy roster, they look strong side on Monday.

The New York Knicks have a clean injury report for Monday’s matchup. Ariel Hukporti’s status has been upgraded after being questionable on Saturday. He wasn’t part of Game 1 but might be considered for this matchup.

Detroit Pistons Injury Report

The Detroit Pistons have listed two players on the injury report. Isaiah Stewart is listed as questionable due to a knee injury. He played for 19 minutes off the bench before leaving the game in the 4th quarter.

Jaden Ivey has already been ruled out for the Pistons due to a recovery from a broken left fibula. His status will be updated in another two weeks.
