On November 3, 2024, the trifecta of NBA games brought fans an exciting mix of skill, speed, and high-flying action. From buzzer-beaters to powerful dunks, the night was filled with thrilling moments. Here are the top five plays that stood out.
In the Dallas Mavericks’ commanding 108-85 victory over the Orlando Magic, Jalen Suggs delivered the fifth-best play of the night. With under two minutes left in the quarter and Dallas leading big, Suggs threaded an exceptional bounce pass from half court, finding rookie Tristan da Silva cutting to the basket. Da Silva capped the play with a powerful two-handed slam in transition.
In the Detroit Pistons’ 106-92 win over the Brooklyn Nets, Jaden Ivey put on a show in the final minute of the second quarter. Charging toward the rim, Ivey seemed ready to throw down on Cameron Johnson, but midair, he shifted, contorting his body for an elegant scoop layup to finish at the rim.
