It was an intense game between the Raptors and Knicks on Monday night.

With only one matchup on Monday night, the NBA still offered an exciting finish and top-class performances. Fueled by a combined performance from Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns, New York snatched a 113-108 win over Toronto Raptors in a thriller. Karl-Anthony Towns finished with 24 points and Raptors’ RJ Barrett scored a game-high 30 points.

So let’s dive into the top three plays from this game:

1. Karl-Anthony Towns’ clutch triple

Karl-Anthony Towns sealed a win for the New York Knicks through a 29-foot three-point jumper, courtesy of OG Anunoby’s assist. His tie-breaking layup put the Knicks take the crucial lead with 36 seconds to go. Later, the decisive three-pointer assured a win.

Towns only hit one of his first four attempts from long range before scoring a triple with six seconds remaining. He finished the game with 24 points, 15 rebounds and six assists while shooting from 7-for-13.

2. RJ Barrett’s alley-oop dunk shot

At the half-break, it was a one-point lead for the Raptors. Ja’Kobe Walter’s driving layup put the Raptors 4-point ahead in the game but Mikal Bridges scored a three-point jumper to reduce the lead to one point.

RJ Barret made a running alley-oop dunk shot in the dying phase of the 3rd quarter to help Toronto take an 86-83 lead. Alley-oop is a term used to describe offensive action. One player ((Ja’Kobe Walter) passes the ball near the basket to a teammate (RJ Barret) who jumps, catches the ball and dunks it in before touching the ground.
