NBA-leaders Cleveland Cavaliers extended their winning streak to 14 games after a close win over Charlotte Hornets. Donovan Mitchell scored 24 points and Darius Garland dropped 20. Evan Mobley added 19 points, while De’Andre Hunter had 15.

Western Conference leaders OKC Thunder beat Portland Trail Blazers for sixth straight game. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was on the bench, and Aaron Wiggins charged Thunder with 30 points. Jaylin Williams dropped his first career triple-double.
Chet Holmgren and Isaiah Hartenstein also missed this game due to injury. Alex Caruso scored 17 points, while Isaiah Joe and Ousmane Dieng each had 16. Scoot Henderson led Portland with 22 points and Shaedon Sharpe added 19.
The Denver Nuggets held their nerves in overtime to beat the Phoenix Suns 149-141. Nikola Jokic became the first NBA player with a triple-double of at least 30 points, 20 rebounds and 20 assists. Suns cut the 21-point deficit in the fourth quarter, and Kevin Durant’s buzzer-beater forced the overtime.
Aaron Gordon added 27 points, including a career-high seven 3-pointers. Kevin Durant scored 29 points for the Suns. Denver sparked a 7-0 in overtime to outscore Phoenix 26-16.
Sacramento Kings overcame the San Antonio Spurs in De’Aaron Fox’s first game as a visitor against his former team. Zach LaVine scored 36 points, while DeMar DeRozan added 22. Keegan Murray chipped in with 19 points for the Kings’ fifth win in six games.
De’Aaron Fox managed 16 points against his former team while shooting 6-for-17. Stephon Castle Paced San Antonio with 25 points. Kings flipped the six-point deficit to a 14-point lead in the second quarter.
Los Angeles Clippers squeezed past the New York Knicks for the second straight game. James Harden scored 27 points, and Kawhi Leonard added 20. Ivica Zubac contributed 16 points and 12 rebounds for the Clippers. The Clippers are 2-0 in their ongoing three-game homestand.
The New York Knicks played without Jalen Brunson and lost their third straight game. Karl-Anthony Towns paced the Knicks with 23 points and 10 rebounds. Mikal Bridges dropped 22, and Josh Hart added 14 points and 20 rebounds.
