The opener of the NBA Finals was a banger. The Indiana Pacers eked out a one-point win as Tyrese Haliburton hit a familiar game-winner. Meanwhile, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s 38-point outburst went to waste.
On June 8, the Oklahoma City Thunder will look to level the series against the Pacers in Game 2 of the Finals. Will Jalen Williams recover after a bad shooting night? Will Pascal Siakam continue his great scoring form? Find the player props here based on BetMGM and FanDuel.
Pascal Siakam O 18.5 points for -112 (FanDuel)
Siakam scored 19 points in Game 1. He shot 7/15 from the floor, and shot 46% FG for the fifth time in six games. He is one of the best role players in this era, and his heroics are akin to the 2019 championship run with the Toronto Raptors.
Siakam scored 30 or more three times during the last series, and after a big comeback win, he must be raring for another big night. Overall, I see him going “Over” the projections.
Tyrese Haliburton O 8.5 Assists for +120 (BetMGM)
Haliburton had just 6 assists in the last game, about 3-4 below the projections. Thus, the odds of him handing around 10 assists have taken a huge hit compared to the Game 1 projections. He has had many single-digit assists games, but I believe he will deliver at least 9 helpers in this game.
Myles Turner O 1.5 Three-Pointers for +110 (FanDuel)
The Pacers center can light it up from long range. He has made 2 triples in each of the last two games. It has happened after he had made just one in each of the previous six straight games. However, I believe he will knock down at least 2 triples in this match.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Under 34.5 points for -110 (BetMGM)
SGA was on fire during Game 1. He scored 38 points and made 3 out of 6 triples. He has scored at least 34 points in four of the last five games in what has been one of the most highly productive runs in playoff history. However, I see the Pacers holding him below 33 here.
Jalen Williams Over 21.5 points for -108 (FanDuel)
The Thunder Wing had 17 points on a sub-par 6/19 shooting last game. He has struggled massively during many postseason games. He has scored fewer than 20 points in 9 of the 13 games. However, I believe the SF will score over 21 points here.

I got into NBA writing through social media interactions in the mid-2010s as I shared my takes on young talents such as D’Angelo Russell. I hope you enjoy reading my pieces as much as Dennis Rodman loved rebounding the basketball!
