The Indiana Pacers return to Madison Square Garden where they started the series with a 2-0 dominant run. The New York Knicks lost their home court advantage and now enter the game 5 with the elimination clouds looming dark.

The New York Knicks have had a major reality check after their game 4 performance. Once touted as the NBA title favorites, they are now one step away from the elimination. Game 3 offered a glimpse of the old Knicks grit, but that fire has since faded leaving behind a shadow of the team that once beat the league’s elite.

Jalen Brunson however, has been a silver lining for the Knicks. His consistency is one of the strong reasons behind New York’s playoffs performances. The 28-year-old scored 31 points in his side’s 121-130 loss. Game 5 could be the final chapter in this Knicks vs. Pacers saga, and Thursday might be the night New York’s playoff hopes are extinguished.

Indiana Pacers Preview

The Pacers have been a side to watch in the playoffs this season. Tyrese Haliburton has especially proven himself on the biggest stage. The visitors have a 3-1 lead coming into the fifth game and the likelihood remains high of them finishing the Knicks vs. Pacers series on Thursday.
