The Minnesota Timberwolves have made a spectacular comeback by decimating the Golden State on Thursday. As a result of the excellent performance by the home team, Timberwolves vs. Warriors series is level at 1-1. Steph Curry remained absent from the game and the effect of it was on display at the Target Center.
Warriors at no stage looked comfortable without their main man in the offense. Minnesota with the burst of energy had a spectacular start to the Timberwolves vs. Warriors game 2. They led the first quarter by 29-15. The visitors by this time lost all the momentum after the first game victory.
Anthony Edwards, who suffered an injury scare, headed straight to the locker room which gave Warriors’ defenders a breather. Though, while in action before the injury, Edwards wasn’t really clicking. But with his athleticism, he was giving all sorts of problems for Golden State near the glass. In the meantime, tensions flared as Draymond Green got involved in an argument with the referee. He got tech as well.

Edwards came back in the Timberwolves vs. Warriors game after the end of the first half. The home side still had a fine lead in their hands. Jonathan Kuminga went hot in the first few moments of the second half, and even Buddy Hield slashed a quick three. The events of play brought the deficit down to almost ten. But the Warriors again went on a scoreless run.
The Golden State Warriors were torched as Julius Randle, Naz Red, Nickel Alexander-Walker all went on to a scoring spree. Even when Anthony Edwards and Jaden MacDaniels had tough times on the court. This phase of play in the Timberwolves vs. Warriors matchup titled the whole game into the home side.

Golden State didn’t have any answer to Timberwolves’ offense. Their fourth quarter performance was even worse than their first quarter performance. Not out rightly in terms of scoring but the turnovers, missing open threes, loose defense, no will to fight.
The role players who contributed in the first game win for the Warriors absolutely went cold on Thursday. However, Jonathan Kuminga (18) and Trayce Jackson Davis’ (15) burst comes as a silver lining for the struggling side. The Warriors lost the game 117-93 in the second game.
