NBA Playoffs 2025 Thunder vs Nuggets Game 7 Injury Report: Major Concerns Around Aaron Gordon as Nuggets Eye WCF Berth

Gulshan Sharma

Ahead of the winners-take-all fixture in Oklahoma City, let's break down the injury report for both teams.

Stage is set for finale of the Western Conference Semifinals playoff series between the OKC Thunder and Denver Nuggets. Denver pulled off a 119-107 win in Game 6 to force a Game 7 on Sunday. It will be a highly-anticipated clash of the week and both teams would look to confirm the WCF berth.

Oklahoma City had a golden chance to wrap up the series on Thursday but failed to counter Denver’s team effort. The Thunder were shooting 11-for-40 from 3-point range in Game 6 and were also outplayed on rebounds. If Thunder get out, it would be a rare occasion in playoff history when top seeds in both conferences and the defending champions faced elimination in the second round.

The Nuggets have an experience of holding the nerves in Game 7 as they previously defeated the Clippers in a seven-game thriller. Denver have a 6-5 record in Game 7 of the NBA playoff series and got success in previous two attempts. Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray have to step up for the 2023 Champions to give it best shot in the semifinals finale.

Oklahoma City Thunder Injury Report

  • Nikola Topic: Out

The OKC Thunder will have a healthy roster against the Nuggets in Game 7. The top seed in the West don’t have a fresh injury concern in Game 7. Nikola Topic will remain out again due to a long-term knee injury, sustained against the Celtics in mid-January.

Denver Nuggets Injury Report

  • Hunter Tyson: Out
  • DaRon Holmes II: Out
  • Aaron Gordon: Questionable

The Denver Nuggets have listed three players on the injury report. Aaron Gordon has reportedly sustained a hamstring injury in Game 6 and he will be questionable for Sunday’s matchup.

Hunter Tyson (Right Ankle Sprain) and DaRon Holmes II (Right Achilles Tendon Repair) will be sidelined again. Tyson’s injury won’t affect the Nuggets as he has logged in for only 22 minutes in postseason this year.
