The Los Angeles Lakers will take on the Minnesota Timberwolves in Game 2 of the first-round NBA Playoffs 2025 series on Tuesday night. The Purple and Blue would look to bounce back from a 117-95 defeat in the series opener. The postseason matchup takes place at Crypto.com Arena and begins at 10:00 p.m. ET on Tuesday.

The Wolves outscored the Lakers 38-20 in the second quarter to take control of the game. They dominated the Lakers in the second half and handed them a 22-point loss in the home matchup. Minnesota’s three players scored 22 points or more and spoiled Luka Doncic’s 37-point performance. Overall, the Lakers shot 39.8% from the floor and 36.6% from 3-point range.

Maxi Kleber is the only player listed on the Lakers’ injury report. He is going through a recovery process from a right foot surgery, but might be back next month if the Lakers reach the next round.
