NBA Playoffs 2025 Pacers vs Cavaliers Game 3 Injury Report: Key Updates on Darius Garland and Evan Mobley as Cavs Aim to End Losing Skid

The Pacers are looking to reach the conference finals for the second straight year.

The Indiana Pacers will host the top seed, Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 3 of the conference semifinals on Friday night. The Pacers snatched a crucial 120-119 victory in Game 2 to take a commanding 2-0 lead in the series. It would be a series-defining clash for the Cavs, who have never won a playoff series after losing first two games.

Indiana outscored Cleveland 36-21 in the fourth quarter to pull off a finest comeback and extend their winning run in the playoffs. Cavs have managed to take the series to Game 7 only twice after going down 2-0 in the playoffs. Cavaliers were 11-for-39 from 3-point range in Game 2 and lost the game after taking an initial 17-point advantage.

The Pacers are two wins away to knock the Cavaliers out of the playoffs. They also owned the regular-season series 3-1 against the Cavs. Indiana didn’t drop a series after winning first two games in the playoff history. Road teams have won 17 out of 21 series in the playoffs after taking a 2-0 lead in the series and the Pacers are looking to reach the conference finals for the second straight year.

Indiana Pacers Injury Report

  • Isaiah Jackson: Out

The Indiana Pacers don’t have a fresh injury concern for Thursday’s matchup. Isaiah Jackson is the only player listed on their injury report. He got injured against the Pelicans in the early November and played in only five games this season.

Cleveland Cavaliers Injury Report

  • Darius Garland: Questionable
  • Evan Mobley: Questionable
  • De’Andre Hunter: Questionable

The Cavaliers have to deal with injury concerns for the do-or-die matchup on Thursday against the Pacers. Darius Garland has been listed questionable due to a toe injury. Evan Mobley (ankle)’s status has been upgraded but he will remain on day-to-day basis. Both players were out from Indiana’s 120-119 win in Game 2.

De’Andre Hunter (thumb) will be questionable for the Cavaliers and will be on day-to-day basis for Game 3.
