Minnesota Timberwolves vs Golden State Warriors Preview

The Timberwolves are searching for rhythm

The Timberwolves are coming into this game after defeating the Washington Wizards by 14 points behind a 41-point outburst by Anthony Edwards. They have won four of their last five games but are yet to win more than four games in a row this season. Their defense has improved but they make too many mistakes during close games. Julius Randle hasn’t fit into the offensive schemes well yet whereas Donte DiVincenzo isn’t the sharpshooter he was last season.

The Warriors are in dire straits

The Warriors enter the game after losing 101-104 against the Toronto Raptors despite a 26-point and 7-assist performance by Stephen Curry. They have lost four in the last five games and have lost 17 out of their last 24 games. Their offense has been in shambles as Buddy Hield has gone ice cold. They lack a dependable scorer outside of Stephen Curry and despite playing tough defense under Draymond Green’s anchorship, they lose too many close games due to their limited offense.

Minnesota Timberwolves vs Golden State Warriors– Final Prediction and Additional Information

The Timberwolves lack the spirit they did last season with their former franchise cornerstone Karl-Anthony Towns. Thus, they offer many openings, especially when the game goes to clutch time. However, the Warriors have themselves struggled to close out games. At any rate, Edwards’ red-hot form gives the Wolves an edge here, thus, there is a chance that the Wolves end up as the victors here. Expect the score to go past 112 points for either side with Timberwolves winning by at least 6 points.

Hi, I am Shubham. I am currently an NBA Predictions Writer on The Playoffs. I enjoy this job because it helps keep me in the loop about the game I love while fulfilling the pleasure I derive from stats. I got into NBA writing through social media interactions in the mid-2010s as I shared my takes on young talents such as D’Angelo Russell. I hope you enjoy reading my pieces as much as Dennis Rodman loved rebounding the basketball!
