Milwaukee Bucks vs Memphis Grizzlies Preview

The Bucks are struggling again

The Bucks come into this game after a highly disappointing 26-point loss against the Milwaukee Bucks despite a 35-point performance by Giannis Antetokounmpo. They have lost three out of the last four games undermining an 8-1 stretch in the middle of January. The duo of Antetokounmpo and Lillard has meshed but doesn’t look like a championship combination yet. Apart from that, they haven’t received ample support offensively but perhaps a bigger problem has been their recurring defensive struggles. The Bucks need better defensive discipline to thrive in the postseason.

The Grizzlies are the best bucket-getters

The Grizzlies enter the affair after sneaking a 1-point win against the Houston Rockets at the back of a 24-point performance by Desmond Bane. This was their seventh win in eight games and the Grizzlies recovered well from a lean start to January. They have the best offensive squad with the league-best average of 123.2 points per game. Ja Morant has helped Jaren Jackson Jr. become more efficient and the team’s offensive balance is spectacular.  They have three players in the 17-23 PPG while having seven players in the 8-13 PPG.

Milwaukee Bucks vs Memphis Grizzlies– Final Prediction and Additional Information

The Bucks have been struggling on the defensive end, which is a recipe for disaster against the best offensive team in the league. However, the Grizzlies’ defense also has many leaks, and the Bucks will be recharged at home after a four-game Western Conference road trip. Since both teams are involved in high-scoring games, the oddmakers would be comfortable going over 240 points here. I see the Bucks cracking past 125 points and clinching a 5+ points victory.
