Miami Heat vs San Antonio Spurs Preview

The Heat are enduring another sub-par season

The Heat are entering the game after losing by a 20-point loss against the Denver Nuggets despite a 22-point performance by Tyler Herro. They have now lost three in a row and suffered a blowout despite getting their superstar Jimmy Butler back after a 7-game suspension. But it makes sense because Butler’s heart is no longer with his current team and he is seeking a trade. The franchise will look to build around Herro for now and hope they get some draft picks or high-impact players in exchange for Butler.

The Spurs are downgrading

The Spurs come into this contest after an 18-point loss against the Memphis Grizzlies despite a 21-point performance by Devin Vassell. They have lost two in a row and five out of their last six games. Their defense has collapsed completely and their offense hasn’t matched their falling defense. The biggest reason for their two-way struggles has been Victor Wembanyama’s exhausted body that has been carrying most of the burden alone for the team throughout the season.

Hi, I am Shubham. I am currently an NBA Predictions Writer on The Playoffs. I enjoy this job because it helps keep me in the loop about the game I love while fulfilling the pleasure I derive from stats. I got into NBA writing through social media interactions in the mid-2010s as I shared my takes on young talents such as D’Angelo Russell. I hope you enjoy reading my pieces as much as Dennis Rodman loved rebounding the basketball!
