Miami Heat vs Boston Celtics Preview

The Heat has a lot of questions in the post-Butler era

The Heat enters the contest after an embarrassing 16-point loss against the Brooklyn Nets. They have lost 8 out of their last 13 games, involving a bunch of losses against struggling teams. This was expected after the team hit a wall with Jimmy Butler and didn’t make any major moves to improve. The arrival of Andrew Wiggins has given the boost at the Wing on both ends and l may improve their chances of getting into the top six spots in the East. But at the end of the day, the Heat will have to take a new direction during the offseason.

The Celtics have regressed a bit but won’t be sweating

The Celtics come into this affair after a thumping 27-point win over the Jalen Brunson-less New York Knicks as Jayson Tatum amassed 40 points. This was their fifth win in six games, helping them recover from a sub-par 6-6 period. The Celts have lacked the mental edge in contrast to their title run last year as the play of Jrue Holiday and Al Horford has regressed a tad. However, their incredible two-way talent means they will be favorites to defend the title despite the rise of the Cleveland Cavaliers and New York Knicks in the East and the Oklahoma City Thunder in the West.

Miami Heat vs Boston Celtics– Final Prediction and Additional Information

The Celtics are in a superb rhythm on the road whereas the Heat are having trouble at home. It is a no-brainer that the Celts are the favorites here but the midseason scenario has thrown many surprises at us lately. However, I’d expect the Celtics to come up with a big win here. The total can be in the 226-235 points range.

Hi, I am Shubham. I am currently an NBA Predictions Writer on The Playoffs. I enjoy this job because it helps keep me in the loop about the game I love while fulfilling the pleasure I derive from stats. I got into NBA writing through social media interactions in the mid-2010s as I shared my takes on young talents such as D’Angelo Russell. I hope you enjoy reading my pieces as much as Dennis Rodman loved rebounding the basketball!
