Kylor Kelley averages at 9.2 points, 5.8 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.7 blocks per game for the South Bay Lakers.

The Dallas Mavericks signed center NBA G League’s Kylor Kelley amid their injury struggles of key players including Dereck Lively II, Daniel Gafford, Maxi Kleber, and more. The Mavericks, who recorded a 122-107 loss against the Boston Celtics on Saturday, are struggling in the current season, and it looks like their injury report isn’t going to get better anytime soon.

However, to address their issues, the Mavs decided to sign G League’s South Bay Lakers guard Kylor Kelley. To complete the roster transaction, they have decided to waive point guard Jazian Gortman from his two-way contract. He last appeared for the side during Saturday’s game and finished the night with one rebound across two minutes. Overall, he has played 56 minutes for the side in 16 matches this season.
