Can Guardiola’s Cityzens Secure the FA Cup, or Will Glasner’s Eagles Soar at Wembley?
Manchester City will face Crystal Palace in the FA Cup 2025 Finals. Oliver Glasner, since his arrival, has led the Eagles to a decent finish as they try to finish it on a high note. Moreover, after losing only two games since March, they could be serious contenders given the season City is having.
Pep Guardiola and his men have recovered after what was a twisting start to the season. Making it to the finals of the Cup and competing for the top five in the Premier League, Manchester City will have a chance to save their Trophyless season on Saturday at Wembley.

Guardiola will lead Manchester City to their third consecutive finals. Losing out to United last year, the Cityzens will look to get the job done this time around. With so much on his plate, Guardiola
In his pre-match interview refused to think any further ahead than Saturday’s showpiece event, saying: “I am thinking just about tomorrow’s game.
“We then have a final on Tuesday against Bournemouth. We pick the team that is best to beat them.”
Manchester City had a rough season in terms of losses as they went through a bad patch. Picking things up since February, they could still finish in the top five of the PL and the FA Cup Trophy. Talking about the motive to win the Cup and what matters, Guardiola, in his interview, continued,
“We want to win for our fans. The guys who travel, I want to say thank you for coming to London.
“Winning is much better than losing, but last year we came into having won four in a row, and maybe our mind was not perfect.”
“But one year later, we are there again.”
The Spanish manager will have to manage between the Premier League fixture and the finals. With every game having high stakes, Guardiola was asked if he prioritises the Premier League over the FA Cup, as he said: “I didn’t think about it. The priority is the Premier League, much more than the FA Cup. And now we have one week. Saturday until next Saturday, training, one or two days.”
