Los Angeles Clippers vs Utah Jazz Preview

The Clippers have lost their grip

The Clippers enter the match-up after a 7-point loss against the Indiana Pacers despite a 22-point and 10-assist performance by James Harden. They have now lost three in a row, showcasing their worst collapse on both ends throughout the season. As a result, they have slipped from the fifth to seventh seed in the West within a couple of weeks. Harden and Norman Powell have been terrific but can’t make up for the absence of Kawhi Leonard. The defense has been stellar but lately, the team has lost its killer edge on that front too. Still, the Clippers have a chance to bounce back.

The Jazz are only focused on the 2025 Draft

The Jazz will come into this game after a battle against the Phoenix Suns. Before that, they earned a rare 3-point win against the Golden State Warriors as Jordan Clarkson had a red-hot 31-point outing. At any rate, they are among the worst teams in the league, a trajectory expected out of them. Surprisingly, the Jazz didn’t trade anyone among Colin Sexxton, Lauri Markkanen, and Walker Kessler. Either they see something special with this core or are waiting for the 2025 offseason to make their moves.

Los Angeles Clippers vs Utah Jazz– Final Prediction and Additional Information

The Clippers have not played their best ball lately, especially on the defensive end. However, the Jazz have been struggling way too much and could face a heavy defeat, especially after playing on the previous night. I see the Clippers posting 120+ points and limiting the Jazz below 105.

Hi, I am Shubham. I am currently an NBA Predictions Writer on The Playoffs. I enjoy this job because it helps keep me in the loop about the game I love while fulfilling the pleasure I derive from stats. I got into NBA writing through social media interactions in the mid-2010s as I shared my takes on young talents such as D’Angelo Russell. I hope you enjoy reading my pieces as much as Dennis Rodman loved rebounding the basketball!
