Los Angeles Clippers vs Oklahoma City Thunder Match Preview

Clippers: They have found their groove

The Los Angeles Clippers will enter the affair after a brilliant 20-point victory over the Memphis Grizzlies as James Harden stacked up 30 points. They have won five in a row and 8 of their last 9 games. Four of these victories have been against top-six squads in either conference, proving the high-quality nature of the team these days. Harden has produced MVP-esque performances while Kawhi Leonard’s availability has been huge on both ends. Ivica Zubac packs a solid punch and the Clippers’ defense sets them apart in the tough West, giving up just 108.5 points per game(4th).

Expected Starting Lineup

PG: James Harden | SG: Kris Dunn | SF: Norman Powell | SF: Kawhi Leonard | C: Ivica Zubac

Key Injuries/Updates: Nothing significant to report thus far.

Thunder: On course to finish with the best record

The Oklahoma City Thunder will come into this game after a remarkable 141-106 win against the Charlotte Hornets behind a 30-point outburst by MVP frontrunner Shai-Gilgeous Alexander. They have won five in a row and 11 of their last 12 games, a common theme this season. They haven’t lost more than two in a row even once this season and their only two-game losing streak came way back around mid-November. SGA has been tremendous but the team’s defensive depth can’t be emphasized enough. The Thunder have conceded just 107 PPG(2nd), containing teams to just a 43.5% clip(1st).

Expected Starting Lineup

PG: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander | SG: Aaron Wiggins | SF: Jalen Williams | PF: Chet Holmgren | C: Isaiah Hartenstein

Key Injuries/Updates: Lu Dort and Jalen Williams are Game-Time Decisions.

Los Angeles Clippers vs Oklahoma City Thunder Total Over/Under Prediction

The Thunder have scored 124.4 PPG in the last ten games, the best mark in the period. Meanwhile, they have limited teams to around 110 PPG(5th), indicating their two-way prowess. Meanwhile, the Clippers have put up 119 or more in six straight games, while containing teams under 104 or below in four of these games. Overall, I expect a high-scoring game here.

Los Angeles Clippers Player Props Predictions- Projected Top Bets & Odds

James Harden to dish over 9.5 assists: The Clippers PG has tabbed 9.6 assists per game in March. I expect him to deliver 10-11 helpers here.

Ivica Zubac to clasp over 12.5 rebounds: The paint dominator has grabbed 12.2 rebounds per game this month, I expect him to be in the 13-15 range here.

Oklahoma City Thunder Player Props Predictions – Projected Top Bets & Odds

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander to score over 33.5 points: SGA has averaged almost 33 points per game this season(#1). I believe he will be in the 35-39 points range here.

Chet Holmgren to score over 16.5 points: The Thunder big forward has notched 15 PPG in March, scoring 15+ in three of the last four games. I believe he will eclipse his month’s tally again.

Los Angeles Clippers vs Oklahoma City Thunder Match Prediction

The Thunder are the best team in the league and it doesn’t matter the opponent or the home-away situation. Meanwhile, the Clippers have been playing high-level basketball, and are full of X-factors. Overall, I expect a riveting battle here but the Thunder can win it in clutch by 4-6 points.

Safe Spread Pick: Thunder -3.5 for +100 at BetMGM
