While James is back with the pod alongside NBA legend Steve Nash, he also had an explosive sit-down with Pat McAfee just a few days ago. Is the Los Angeles Lakers superstar going on a podcast tour at the tail-end of his career? What will be his next destination? Let’s go through the projections.
As per Bovada, First Things First with Nick Wright, Chris Broussard, and Kevin Wildes is the favorite to have the all-time leading scorer on their pod after the Pat McAfee appearance. The speculations skyrocketed after LBJ gave a tight hug to Wright right after the Lakers’ 7-point win against the Memphis Grizzlies. Wright is a LBJ superfan and considers him the undisputed Greatest of all-time (GOAT) NBA athlete.
Shannon Sharpe has always been a huge LeBron James fan. Like Wright, he also considers LBJ the GOAT. He has defended The Akron Hammer on many occasions during his debates against Stephen A. Smith on the First Take. But his most memorable LBJ fan moments came on UNDISPUTED with perpetual James detractor, Skip Bayless. Thus, Sharpe’s YouTube show Club Shay Shay is right up there where James can grace the set.

It is no secret that Golden State Warriors long-time enforcer Draymond Green and LeBron James. Their bond has become stronger since Green has been able to land lucrative contracts through Klutch Sports, run by James’ close pal, Rich Paul. Green has been pleading for James to join forces with him, as indicated by the Warriors’ asking for LBJ via a trade last season. It didn’t manifest, but James can grant the other wish from his buddy by appearing on his The Draymond Green Show, no?
Colin Cowhed has been a prominent pro-LeBron James since his Cavaliers days. The veteran commentator considers LBJ the GOAT and doesn’t shy away from defending him against Michael Jordan in heated debates. Will LBJ come on his The Herd pod next? Don’t be surprised if he does.
The aforementioned pods are obvious favorites if James decides to present his unfiltered opinions. But don’t count out other shows. Gilbert Arena’s notorious Gil’s Arena pod is a terrific venue for NBA athletes to get off what is on their minds.
