Los Angeles Lakers great LeBron James named his most dominant rival, and to everyone’s surprise, he is not either Kobe Bryant or Stephen Curry. James recently appeared on a podcast where he picked Denver Nuggets’ superstar Nikola Jokic as the most dominating player he has ever faced in his 23 seasons in the NBA. The four-time champion also heaped praise on the three-time MVP and revealed why the latter has become one of the most unstoppable forces in the league.

“I was just talking to my good friend Jared Dudley and I was just like, ‘This guy is ridiculous,’” LeBron told Steve Nash on Mind the Game podcast. “He was like, ‘Yeah, he is ridiculous.’ He’s been in Dallas the last few years and been around some great players, but this Joker guy, man… what the? In his last four or six games, is he not shooting like 77 percent from the field? And this is not like dunks and layups. This is everything. All three levels.”

Highlighting the Joker’s dominance on the court, James said that there is nothing that the former cannot do offensively. “There has not been a more dominant, complete player that I have played against,” LeBron added. “In the sense of all the attributes that you just mentioned, from the passing to the shooting, to the rebounding, to the attention… There is nothing he cannot do on the offensive end.”

Notably, the Serbian has a career average of 21.9 points, 11.0 rebounds, and 7.3 assists per game on 56.1% shooting. In the ongoing season, he has led the Nuggets for a 13-4 record thus far. Jokic is averaging 29.6 points, 12.8 rebounds, 11.1 assists, and 0.8 blocks per game while shooting 62.6%.

LeBron James Reveals Plans he has for Son Bronny James

LeBron James, who recently scripted another NBA record by becoming the first player to play 23 NBA seasons, also talked about his son Bronny James on the same podcast. Bronny James, 21, has been in the limelight ever since he made debut in the league. Several NBA fans and pundits criticized the Lakers for not picking the USC product on the basis of talent but his father’s influence. In his debut season, he averaged 2.3 points, 0.7 rebounds, and 0.8 assists on 31.3% shooting from the field.

Talking about the same, his father, a 21-time NBA All-Star revealed the ultimate plan he has for his son. “I just want him to, you know, he has to walk his own journey,” James said on Mind the Game podcast. “I can give him the blueprint, and I can give him some of the things that I’ve seen, but I want him to walk through the fire as well.”

Currently in his sophomore year, James Jr. is averaging 1.9 points, 0.8 rebounds, and 1.7 assists on subpar shooting of 286% from the field and 25.0% from the three-point range. Following his father’s footsteps in the league, Bronny James has too much pressure on his shoulders considering the legacy James Sr. has established. However, it is important for the young lad to not succumb to that pressure and carve out a respectable career for himself.
