Warriors and Pelicans release lengthy injury reports for Saturday's contest.
The Golden State Warriors will be up against the New Orleans Pelicans in the second last game of their homestand before they jet off to a four-game road trip. This will be the second time both teams will be up against each other in the NBA 2025-26 season. In their previous encounter, the Dubs recorded an easy win over the rivals to gain a 1-0 lead. They would aim to continue their dominance, while the Pelicans would seek revenge by levelling the tally 1-1.
The Dubs, in their most-recent game, slumped to the Houston Rockets in an NBA Cup group-stage fixture. The game saw their superstar Stephen Curry suffer a quadriceps injury, which was later diagnosed as a quadriceps contusion and muscle strain. On the other hand, the Pelicans, who are one of the worst performing teams of the season went down against the Memphis Grizzlies in a group stage game of the ongoing in-season tournament. The Pelicans are seeded at the bottom in the West with a 3-16 record.
Here, we will go through the injury concerns for both teams as they gear up for a weekend clash.
