Fabrizio Romano: Lamine Yamal and the Barcelona Board Will Meet Today To Formally Sign All the Documents

In the latest scheme of reports on Yamal’s contract extension, famous journalist Fabrizio Romano has said the talks are in the advanced stages. The journalist in his yesterday report confirmed the deal as new updates emerged on Tuesday.

Captioning his latest report, Romano said: Lamine Yamal, his agent Jorge Mendes and the Barcelona board will meet today to formally sign all the documents for a new deal. The agreement until 2031, is done and set to be sealed as revealed yesterday.

Yamal is expected to sign a six-year deal with FC Barcelona till 2031. Given the 17-year-old’s performance, Yamal will also expect a significant spike in his earnings with the new deal in order.

FC Barcelona finished their La Liga 2024/25 season with 28 wins as Yamal was among their top players. Leading the team in assists (13), the 17-year-old also scored nine goals in 35 appearances.
