The Lakers will be on the back of a 107-99 win over the Mavericks.
The Los Angeles Lakers are back on the court for a clash against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Thursday, February 27. They were in action on Tuesday, February 25, where they pulled off a 107-99 win over the Dallas Mavericks in a high-octane game.
The game saw their newly-acquired superstar Luka Doncic playing against his former team for the first time since the blockbuster deal. While Doncic had a triple-double game, “King” LeBron James finished the night with 27 points, 12 rebounds and three assists.
On the other hand, the Timberwolves, seated in the seventh spot in the West, avenged their last defeat against the Thunder. They recorded a 131-128 win over their counterparts in a rematch, and will aim to continue the winning run.
Ahead of the game, both Lakers and Timberwolves have a few injury concerns. Their injury reports have a couple of players listed out as well as questionable.
Timberwolves’ power shooting guard Anthony Edwards is on the list with questionable status with a calf injury. The 23-year-old was last seen in action during the win against the Thunder, where he finished with 17 points, 13 rebounds and eight assists. If he is not able to play on Thursday, the Timberwolves will have a tough time against the JJ Redick side.
Apart from him, Donte DiVincenzo is also listed as questionable with a toe injury. Rudy Gobert and Julius Randle will be out of action due to back and groin injuries, respectively.

Los Angeles Lakers’ icon LeBron James has been officially listed as questionable on the injury list due to foot injury management. James sustained a foot injury before the All-Star festivities, forcing him to miss his 21st All-Star Game appearance.
However, following the All-Star Weekend, James has been continuously in action, delivering important performances. The 40-year-old continues to be in prime despite his age, and setting benchmarks with each passing game.
