Murray is currently the second-best player after Nikola Jokic in Denver's lineup.
Los Angeles Lakers (42-25) will host the Denver Nuggets (44-25) in their final game of the regular-season series. Nuggets held the nerves in the last meeting against the short-handed Lakers, who played without Luka Doncic and LeBron James. Knecht and Reaves put up a valiant effort against the 3rd-seeded Denver.
Luka Doncic returned for the Lakers and won two straight games in their ongoing five-game homestand. The Purple and Gold are on an eight-game winning streak at home. On the flip side, the Nuggets defeated the Warriors in their previous game without their key pair, Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray.
It’s been a one-sided matchup in recent years as Denver have won 12 of the past 13 games against the Lakers. The Nuggets are 2-1 in the four-game regular-season series and are 21-14 in road games. Meanwhile, some crucial injury may impact Nuggets’ game at Crypto.com Arena.
