Gulshan Sharma

Gordon reached his career-high by the end of the third quarter.

Denver Nuggets were playing without their in-form duo, Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray but it wasn’t a problem for Aaron Gordon. The 29-year-old forward’s 30-point outburst helped Denver beat Golden State 114-05 on Monday. Steph Curry and Co. ended their seven-game winning streak.

Gordon transformed his game after being traded in 2021 and charged the undermanned Nuggets to beat the Warriors, who entered this game 14-2 since trading for Jimmy Butler. Aaron Gordon highlighted a season-high performance after missing out the previous game against the Wizards.

Russell Westbrook supported Gordon and dropped a triple-double, including a crucial 3-pointer with 4:10 left in the game. The former Arizona Wildcats student scored 38 points and led the offense against a red-hot Golden State.
