It’s the first time the two teams will meet since the big trade drama.

Usually, a game between the Lakers and Hornets wouldn’t get too much attention. But this Wednesday’s game is different. It’s the first time the two teams will meet since the big trade drama.

Mark Williams, the Hornets’ center, was supposed to be traded to the Lakers for Dalton Knecht and Cam Reddish. But the trade got canceled after the Lakers found health issues with him during his physical and was sent back to Charlotte.

Williams has had injury problems in his career, playing in only 85 out of 215 games because of back issues and other injuries. This season, he has had a good season, averaging 15.6 points, 9.6 rebounds, and 2.5 assists in 23 games. He missed the start of the season but has been playing well since returning.

After the trade fell through, Williams didn’t join the team for a week. The Hornets gave him some time to adjust and get back to the team.

So, will Mark Williams play tonight?

Will Mark Williams play against Lakers?

According to Hornets’ injury report for Wednesday’s game, Williams has been listed as probable. This could be a big game for the 23-year-old who will probably want to show the Lakers they made a mistake by not accepting him.

Meanwhile, Hornets’ young star LaMelo Ball is also listed as probable for the game due to a right ankle injury. Tre Mann is out with a disc issue, and Brandon Miller, Josh Okogie (left hamstring), and Grant Williams will also miss the game.
