Randal Kolo Muani edges closer to Juventus return

Ritam Dey

Juventus are reportedly advancing in their pursuit of Randal Kolo Muani, with talks moving towards a potential agreement with Paris Saint-Germain in the coming days. The striker, who impressed during a loan spell in Turin last season, has made it clear that his preference is to rejoin the Bianconeri rather than explore opportunities elsewhere.

Salary reduction helps unlock deal for Muani

PSG are open to selling the French forward but have ruled out a simple loan arrangement, insisting on an obligation to buy as part of any deal. This condition has left Juventus with limited room for negotiation, but the Italian giants remain intent on striking an agreement to bolster their attacking options.

Kolo Muani himself has played a proactive role in pushing for the move. Having missed pre-season preparations, the 25-year-old has prioritised a swift resolution and has even agreed to lower his salary demands to make the transfer more feasible. Reports suggest he is now willing to accept a contract worth around €5 million plus bonuses, bringing him within Juventus’ wage structure.

The player’s willingness to make concessions highlights his determination to return to Turin, where he enjoyed a productive stint last season. Juventus, for their part, continue to press for the transfer to be finalised quickly, recognising both his quality and the need for additional depth in attack.

Although discussions are ongoing, optimism is growing within the club that an agreement can be sealed. With Dusan Vlahovic already spearheading the frontline, the addition of Kolo Muani would offer Massimiliano Allegri more flexibility and firepower going into a demanding campaign.

If concluded, the move would see Juventus secure a forward who not only fits their tactical plans but also arrives with strong motivation to prove himself again in Serie A.
