The Cincinnati Bengals (2-4) welcome the Pittsburgh Steelers (4-1) for a Week 7 AFC North battle on Thursday Night Football at Paycor Stadium. Pittsburgh, fresh off a three-game win streak, relies on Aaron Rodgers’ efficient passing and a defense with 20 sacks this season. While the Steelers have struggled with consistency at times, they have managed to win games and are certainly looking like they’re a playoff bound team.
Meanwhile, the Cincinnati Bengals come into this game with four-straight losses, with their latest coming against the Green Bay Packers. However, with the Bengals recently acquiring Joe Flacco from the Browns, there’s hope. With Joe Burrow sidelined for 3 months at least, with a turf toe injury. All eyes will be on Flacco, Ja’Marr Chase, and Tee Higgins to lead them on the offensive end, and get some wins.
The Steelers hold the edge in terms of head-to-head record with 71-40 against the Bengals. However, it was Flacco and the Bengals who came through with a win over the Steelers on Thursday Night Football in week 7, with the final score being 33-31 in favor of Cincinnati.
But which quarterback holds the overall edge when it comes to the Steelers’ Aaron Rodgers vs Bengals’ Joe Flacco? Lets’ find out.
Aaron Rodgers came into the game with a 3-0 record against Joe Flacco in their head-to-head regular-season matchups. The first time they met was in December 7, 2009 where Rodgers played for the Green Bay Packers at the time and Flacco was with the Baltimore Ravens. Rodgers and the Packers beat the Ravens 27-13. In their second matchup, Rodgers and the Packers once again beat the Ravens in October 13, 2013, however the contest was extremely close with the final score being 19-17.
And their last meeting was in September 22, 2019, where Rodgers with the Green Bay Packers, beat Joe Flacco and the Denver Broncos 27-16.
With Flacco’s win tonight, the overall head-to-head is now 3-1 in the regular season. While Rodgers may still be ahead, these two teams are set to face off once again in November.

Aaron Rodgers and Joe Flacco have not faced each other in the playoffs. Their head-to-head matchups are limited to three-regular season games (2009, 2013, 2019), all won by Rodgers’ team. No postseason encounters are recorded between the two quarterbacks so far.
This will only be the fourth time the two QB1s will meet during their long NFL careers. Joe Flacco, who’s 40, and Aaron Rodgers, who’s 41, are set to make history as they will become the second over-40 duo to face off against one another. Tune in to watch this historic battle of the “Uncs” contest.

mma I cover the National Football League and things cannot get better than that. I always dreamed to play football or basketball professionally since I’m built like a Running Back. But now that I can’t, since I’m technically in the “Unc” age, I thought why not pick a career in sports industry? So here I am, doing what I love, and hoping that the Commanders win the Super Bowl. I give love to players when it’s due, but can be critical about their performances at the same time. Enough about me, now let my articles do all the talking.
