Al-Nassr secures Joao Felix in a significant move, aiming for the Saudi Pro League title.
The football transfer market is heating up as Joao Felix, the Portuguese striker, is set to join Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia. In a deal that reunites him with Cristiano Ronaldo, this move marks a crucial moment in Felix’s career, offering a fresh start and the chance to revive his form alongside a global legend.
Reports from Fabrizio Romano and Sky Sports confirm that Chelsea have agreed to sell Felix to Al-Nassr for an initial €30 million (£26.2m), with add-ons potentially raising the total to £43.7m (€50m). The deal includes a significant sell-on clause worth up to €50m to align with Chelsea’s future valuation.

Felix has been authorized to travel to Riyadh for his medical, with paperwork in progress to finalize the transfer. Felix’s contract with Al-Nassr will run until June 2027, spanning two years, following his recent stint with AC Milan and a £45m permanent move to Chelsea last summer, which the Blues are now recouping.
Al-Nassr aims to bolster their squad with Felix after Jhon Jader Duran’s departure to Fenerbahce. Under new head coach Jorge Jesus, known for his belief in Felix’s talents, the club is targeting their first Saudi Pro League title since 2018-19. The projected lineup includes stars like Sadio Mane and Marcelo Brozovic, with Felix expected to enhance their attacking options alongside Ronaldo.
The highlight of this transfer is Felix’s reunion with Cristiano Ronaldo, his fellow Portuguese international. The duo previously celebrated together during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, and now they will share the pitch at Al-Nassr. Ronaldo, a five-time Ballon d’Or winner, brings leadership and experience that could help Felix regain his confidence and unlock his potential.
