James Harden’s Salary With LA Clippers 

The 35-year-old moved to the Clippers in 2023 in a multi-player trade deal from the 76ers. According to Sportac.com, he signed a two-year $70 million contract with the side, including $70 million guaranteed, and an annual income of $35 million. His base salary for the ongoing season is $33,653,846, with a cap hit of 33,653,846 and a dead cap value of $33,653,846.

James Harden’s Career Earnings

Initially in his career, Harden earned $4 million per year in the NBA. In his stint with the Thunder, he earned over $12 million. Later, he spent nine years with the Houston Rockets after being traded to the Houston Rockets on October 27, 2012. He signed a five-year $78.78 million maximum rookie contract extension with Houston, and signed a four-year $118 million maximum contract with the team. In 2017, Harden signed a four year $171 million contract extension, and earned over $178 million with the franchise. 

The Los Angeles-born requested a trade to the Brooklyn Nets with an aim to form a superteam at the end of 2020. He earned over $63 million with the team during that tenure, before moving to the Philadelphia 76ers in 2023 where he exercised a $35.64 million Player Option for 2023-24. When he joined the LA Clippers, Harden signed a two-year $70 million contract with LA Clippers (LAC), which includes a 2025-26 Player Option and 15% Trade Bonus. 

As per Spotrac, he has an overall career earning of $372 million through 2024.
